User Guide

Introduction

Welcome to the DeepChatBI Klaviyo integration! This guide will walk you through everything you need to connect your Klaviyo account directly from the onboarding wizard, sync your marketing data, and start using powerful analytics to optimize your campaigns.

With this integration, you can:

  • View all your email/SMS campaign performance metrics in one place
  • Analyze open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue attribution
  • Build custom dashboards and reports tailored to your marketing goals
  • Identify high-performing segments and campaigns to double down on

Prerequisites

Before you begin, please ensure you have:

  • An active Klaviyo account with admin access
  • Your Klaviyo account permissions set to allow third-party integrations
  • A DeepChatBI account (sign up for free at https://deepchatbi.com/en)

Step 1: Start the Onboarding Wizard

  1. 1Log in to your DeepChatBI dashboard
  2. 2The Welcome to DeepChatBI onboarding wizard will automatically open
  3. 3Navigate to the Connect Data Sources step

Step 2: Connect Klaviyo from the Wizard

  1. 1In the list of available data sources, find Klaviyo
  2. 2Click the Connect button next to Klaviyo
  3. 3You will be redirected to the Klaviyo authorization page
  4. 4Log in to your Klaviyo account (if not already logged in)
  5. 5Review the requested permissions and click Allow to grant DeepChatBI access to your data
Step 2: Connect Klaviyo from the Wizard

Note: DeepChatBI only requests read-only access to your campaign, list, and profile data. We never send emails or modify your Klaviyo settings.

Step 3: Verify the Connected Status

  1. 1After successful authorization, you will be redirected back to the DeepChatBI onboarding wizard.
  2. 2The Klaviyo entry will update to show a green Connected status
  3. 3Your initial data sync will begin automatically – this may take 1-5 minutes depending on your account size
  4. 4You can monitor the sync progress in the wizard or from the My Data Sources page

Step 4: Complete the Onboarding & Explore Analytics

Once the sync is complete:

  1. 1Click I have completed these steps to finish the onboarding wizard
  2. 2Navigate to Analytics > Klaviyo to view your pre-built dashboards

Tip: Use the filters to view data by date range, campaign type, or audience segment

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Authorization Failed

  • •Ensure you're using an admin-level Klaviyo account
  • •Check that pop-up blockers are disabled for DeepChatBI
  • •Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then reauthorize from the wizard

Klaviyo Stuck on 'Connect' (Not Showing 'Connected')

Data Not Syncing

  • •The integration syncs data from the last 90 days by default
  • •To view older data, adjust the date range filter in your dashboard
  • •Campaigns that are still in draft mode will not appear in the sync

Security & Privacy

DeepChatBI takes data security seriously:

  • All data transfers are encrypted using TLS 1.2+
  • We do not store your Klaviyo API keys or credentials
  • You can revoke DeepChatBI's access at any time from your Klaviyo account settings
